P&P-Assignment Four; Corrections

Assignment Four – Corrections

I felt I researched this assignment well, as well as connecting it to my own work, but perhaps I did not do so well with regards to the quality of my images.
I have taken on board my tutors comments with regards to time, which will be shown in my next assignment.

Here are the following are the corrections I have made in response to my tutors feedback.

Camden Market
Firstly I feel that I need to clarify that the other twelve publishable images are not “rejects” per say, I simply felt they were not as strong as the other images. So I followed the assignment directive and included them in to the final draft.

With regards to the image of the pole I have took another image which may have been better for the assignment.

I am not sure if this is a stronger image or not, I did not include this image as I wanted the people to be more prominent in the image as well as them walking on the road.

I have another image that may fit better in to the assignment directive, but I was in two minds whether or not to include it.

I think this may have been a better image for me to include due to the light, the people and the vertical lines.

I did not include this image in the assignment, as I wanted to have just one image of the road in my assignment, which included a close up image of the flyering that happens in Camden.

Regents Park
Here is an image to show the low dappled light and people who are closer to the foreground.

I initially did not include this image as I wanted to make the children anonymous, but alas, as children always do, they moved to fast.

I did manage to get an image where they were blurred, but unfortunately the whole image was blurred, as I was trying to get the correct angle for the composition. I did not include this image as it was not as sharp as I would have liked.

Piccadilly Circus
I agree with the Break-dancer image so instead of using the cropped image, here is another one that I wanted to include, which may be a bit better composition wise.

I like this image as you really feel like you are ‘amongst’ the crowd, I did not include it as the image is not as sharp as I would have liked, also, I feel the woman’s head in the foreground may have been a bit too distracting.

Learning Log
I see what my tutor means about having to open the months on the side of my blog, however, I have been unable to change it.
The only way I can change it is to make it worse, as I cannot change the complete format of the archive post in blogger.
This blog site is a suggested site that the OCA has said that their students could use.
I have however, listed each title differently to make it easier to access, so the whole exercise and assignment title is visible.
