Exercise;
Standing back
I have to select a medium focal length between 80mm-200mm
and take images of people from far away.
With this exercise, I found it really easy with no
difficulty at all really, the only slight problem as the notes suggest, was a
few people blocking my view.
I found it easier because of the distance, I
was able to detach myself and get a picture of normality, rather than people
interacting on any sort of level. I think as soon people see a camera, they are
automatically drawn to it, which for these exercises and assignment is/will be
a bit difficult.

This is my favourite picture put of this exercise, it
helps because he is sleeping and doesn’t actually notice me, although the
people around me did and it was a bit uncomfortable!.
I
like peacefulness of it and the dappled light makes a great effect.

Although
you can’t see his face in this image, I think this works well and represent a
feeling of solitude.

This
is also a good one, he seems relaxed and having a rest after his short walk!, I
feel I have judged the composition and the depth of field well.

This
is my least favourite in this exercise, however, I do like the framing and the
monk stands out really well.
